Ireland's Shannon Region is a great holiday destination and holiday makers who embark on a trail will find an abundance of accommodation, including hotels, B&Bs, guesthouses, hostels, caravans and camping, and self catering, throughout the entire Shannon Region, which covers counties Limerick, Clare, North Tipperary and South West Offaly.

This section provides listings and contact details of trail-friendly accommodation in Limerick, Clare, North Tipperary and South Offaly, which can be found using the menu on the left. These trail-friendly accommodation providers supply a number of added extras for anyone who wants an active holiday, such as transport services, maps, directions to trails, packed lunches and much more.

In order to become a trail-friendly accommodation provider businesses are required to:

1. Complete and return the Information Form to Flan Quilligan, Tourism Product Development, Shannon Development, Shannon Town Centre, Co. Clare or e-mail to Quilliganf@shannondevelopment.ie

2. Provide a short paragraph describing your business (not more than 100 words) which will be included on the Shannon Region Trails website.

3. Provide an image of your business for the Shannon Region Trails website.

Once the completed information form and meet the minimum criteria accommodation providers will be requested to sign up for a trail-friendly charter, which will include all of the services set out in the attached information form.
