Carrigann Hotel, Lisdoonvarna

Guided and self-guided walking holidays in the unique limestone region of the Burren in north Co. Clare on the west coast of Ireland. Guided walks are led by local young farmer, Shane Connolly, who has extensive knowledge of the Burren, particularly its flora, archaeology and history.

Guided walking holidays can be of any duration from one day to one week or more. Special weekend breaks are available in March, April and October. Detailed maps and notes are available for self guided walks, with advice and suggestions given on the most suitable routes to take. Also available is a one week, two centre holiday featuring guided walks in Connemara, Achill Island and the Burren. Transport is available to and from Shannon airport and also to and from walks.
