Ursula and Noel warmly welcomes you to our family run home surrounded by the rich countryside and on the shores of the lovely Lough Derg. We are on the door step to the scenic east Clare walkways and only 1km from the village where you can experience a variety of wonderful restaurants and lively pubs. The breathtaking harbour is only a 6 minute walk away and we can arrange guided boat trips to the famous “Holy Island” (with our local historian -notice required) or boat and bicycle hire. We at Hawthorn Lodge offer a very high standard of accommodation and we also have a dedicated area for drying clothes/shoes etc., should you be unlucky to get caught in one of our few rain showers!! We are central to most outdoor pursuits (horse riding, golfing, pitch and putt, fishing, sailing etc). We are also approved by the Irish Tourist Board so you won’t be disappointed!
