This traditional country house, which overlooks farmlands, is 100 years old. A warm welcome awaits you, with tea or coffee and some homemade cake on arrival. All our rooms are en suite and are spacious, warm and comfortable. At "The Orchard" we have our own farm produce, good home cooking being our specialty. Guests can indulge in our homemade breads, cakes and jams. Tea/coffee making facilities are in the lounge and you may use them any time. You may also raid the cake tin!
As Newcastle West is a country town, you will meet mostly locals who are always ready for fun! We have a wide variety of shops and restaurants in the town where guests can sample local produce. The Orchard is an ideal place for a peaceful break and a great base from which to explore the magic of the surrounding Irish countryside.
