Mountain View Horse Riding Centre is a newly established facility in the heart of the Burren which enables you to enjoy panoramic views of Galway Bay, the Burren and Cliffs of Moher on horseback.
The owner, Peter, who is a native of Poulnagun, has over 20 years experience working with horses and with his ideal location has access to extremely safe and certified Burren walking routes which make for some of the bext horse trails in the west. Mountain View caters for all capabilities, from the beginner to advanced ride and provides all equipment necessary.
There are a number of different trails available, ranging from short one hour trek to three and four hour treks across Slieve Elva and into the hear of the Burren. Speciality sunrise and sunset trails are also catered for on request, advance booking is advised.
Options range from 1-4 hours trails to a full day trail. Lunch is provided on route for the 4 hour and full day trails. The cost is €30 per person per hour and group and family discounts are offered.
