Between them, these areas provide a unique base for food production.  Seafood specialties and aromatic meats from animals reared on the wild Burren landscape abound in Clare.  Offaly produces lamb on sweet lowland pastures.  In Limerick and North Tipperary, pasturelands are home to prime beef and dairy herds.
