Trail Operators

Throughout Ireland's Shannon Region you’ll find a number of dedicated tour operators or guides for walking, cycling, water-based and horse riding trails.

These operators specialise in trail holidays throughout the West of Ireland, with a special emphasis on the Shannon Region, which includes some of the most scenic and interesting parts of the country. Guided trails are led by knowledgeable professionals, who have an in-depth knowledge of the region’s landscape, points of interest along the way and local weather.

There are also three Outdoor Education Centres located in counties Clare, Limerick and South West Offaly in Ireland's Shannon Region. These centres offer activities including canoeing and walking among many others, run a number of courses, provide accommodation, and help people to learn and develop skills such a map reading.
