There are three Outdoor Education Centres in Ireland's Shannon Region. They can make all the necessary arrangements and are committed to ensuring you have a memorable stay. The centres listed below offer activities in canoeing, walking among many others, run a number of courses, provide accommodation, and help you to learn and develop skills such a map reading.
Kilfinane OEC provide quality Outdoor Education Courses for School, Youth & Adult Groups and a range of Adventure Sports courses for Adults. We have an excellent range of activities and offer courses on a residential and non residential basis. The Burren Outdoor Education Centre has a reputation for its welcoming atmosphere, good food and accommodation and excellent programmes and courses. The centre provides quality outdoor education to all client groups, promoting good and safe practice in the outdoors. The centre offers a wide range of adventure and outdoor activities which include caving, canoeing, sailing, orienteering, rock climbing and hill walking.

Birr O.E.C. run a wide variety of courses, catering for a large number of groups and individuals. These courses vary in length from half day adventure sports courses to 4 week long English Language courses. Fully residential courses as well as day courses are available.
