reland’s Shannon Region is easily reached by sea and air. Shannon International Airport lies at the heart of the Region and, with direct flights from the UK, North America & Europe it is the easiest way to reach it.
The Region is approximately a one and a half hour drive from Cork ferry port and about a three hour drive from Rosslare, Dun Laoghaire and Dublin ferryports.
The Region has good rail connections and a network of uncrowded roads which are a pleasure for the motorist or cyclist.
With the Shannon Region being so easy to reach the only difficulty you’ll have is drawing yourself away from it!
